Ecovadis Silver medal for Estanc!

Estanc believes that the only right way to do business is in a sustainable manner. It is at the forefront of our corporate policy and influences all aspects of our business activities.

We are already part of the United Nations Global Compact and Estonian cooperation platform Green Tiger. Estanc is committed to 6 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and for guidance we use the Ten Principles of UN Global Compact. We have now also undergone an audit by the EcoVadis – The World’s most trusted business sustainability ratings.

EcoVadis assessments focus on 21 issues which are grouped into 4 themes: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Our contributions and measures in these areas were recorded using a detailed online questionnaire and evaluated by EcoVadis. The results are impressive: we are in the top 8% in our sector!

We are happy and proud that we have been awarded a silver medal in our first attempt. But after receiving the EcoVadis scorecard, we are certain that we can do more!  We are now going to work on our sustainability strategy to become even better.
