Take Your Child to Work Day Brings 42 Young Visitors to Estanc

Last week, the Estanc office was filled with excitement and joyful chatter as we celebrated our 7th annual “Take Your Child to Work Day.” This year, 42 children participated in the event, discovering what their parents do each day at work.

What makes this day so special?

It gives children the chance to peek behind the scenes of their parents’ workday and see where their mom or dad heads off to each morning. For many, it’s a welcome change of pace — a break from school or kindergarten and an opportunity to spend the day in a completely different environment.

The day began with a tour of Estanc’s production facility, where the children got to see firsthand how large and complex equipment is built. Afterwards, they enjoyed a fun and engaging magician’s performance, full of laughter and surprises for kids of all ages. But the undeniable highlight of the day was the mini pancakes with a variety of toppings — they disappeared from plates faster than expected!

After lunch, the children had time to draw and spend time with their parents in the office, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere throughout the company.

Traditions like this bring a sparkle to children’s eyes, help them better understand what mom or dad does at work — and who knows, maybe even inspire a future Estanc engineer or leader!
