| Behind every successful project, you’ll find a highly skilled project manager. To add depth and value to our project manager roles two of the project managers in our Estanc team now have a PRINCE2 Foundation certification. Other project managers are also working towards having the certification.
PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is the world’s most widely-adopted project management method, which was one of the main reasons Estanc favored it. It’s a structured project management method and practitioner certification programme which emphasises dividing projects into manageable and controllable stages. Some of the advertised benefits of PRINCE2 are: increased quality of the finished products, efficient control of resources, avoidance of either “heroic” (under-regulated) or “mechanistic” (over-regulated) working, and increased confidence among the project team.
